Cutting ADT Service - order of operations?

I've just ended my contract and am ready to cut service with the plan to maintain use of my alarm service.

I've read the posts about, but have a couple questions regarding order of operations for my setup.

Setup:
1. Standard Box/Panel (Believe Safeway 3000)
2. Cellular backup Panel (model unknown)

I understand how to remove the primary and secondary phone information, subscriber account, and download phone, but how do I prevent ADT from overriding my changes and disabling remotely.

Should I:
1. Clear Phone numbers, etc.
2. unplug cellular backup & battery
3. unplug standard panel & battery
4. Call ADP to cancel
5. Plug standard & battery
6. Do what with Cellular?

I know the installer code of 6321 and have our personal code, but do I need to change the installer code or be concerned about ADT locking my system?

Thanks for the help. If i missed searching for another article that details this, please point in right direction.

Thanks for the help.

You have to physically disconnect the cellular unit. It generates it's own troubles (the system treats it like a keypad).
In addition to deleting the dialer numbers. In programming enter *29 0. That makes it stop looking for the cellular radio.
Also enter *94* and *95 0. That deletes the upload phone number and ability for a remote initiated upload.

Thanks MrRonFL - very helpful.

To summarize, this would be the activities that I would employ so that I can retain usage of the Alarm.

1. entered programming mode: [6][3][2][1] [8][0][0]
2. cleared primary phone:[*][4][1][*]
3. cleared secondary phone:[*][4][2][*]
4. cleared subscriber account:[*][4][3][*]
5. clear cellular radio:[*][2][9][0][*]
5. cleared download phone:[*][9][4][*]
6. cleared remote install:[*][9][5][*]
7. exited programming mode:[*][9][9]

8. Disconnect battery Cell tower
9. unplug cell tower.
10. Call to cancel service.

Because I know the installer code, I don't need to worry about the main panel box, correct? I can cut the home phone line that runs to it or disconnect if that is also preferred.
