DSC Motion Reset

Hello,

I have a monitored security system by telguard, DSC RFK5510. I have an exterior motion camera that is triggered by a motion sensor which currently only records 25 second clips whenever a motion is detected. My question is, after a motion is triggered there is some sort of delay buffer or timer where the camera will not record after the 25 seconds and motion is tripped again. Its as if the system has to see no motion for 2-5 minutes before it can trigger again and record. Can this timer/buffer be adjusted? Does anyine else use telguard and is able to extend the 25 second clip to a longer clip?

Thank you

Typically, a motion sensing function that controls a camera recording function is controlled by the camera or DVR configuration; which is independent of the intrusion alarm programming.

So the question you need to ask your installer, is how to access the camera/DVR configuration (and no, there's no standard; every camera and DVR brand is somewhat different)
