NX-6 Problem

Okay...I just bought a house with a Networx NX-6 system with two NX-1308E panels. The system WAS monitored but is not as of now due to not having telephone service as of yet. All was working fine until yesterday when I went to the home and found that one of the panels was no longer responsive. The power light is a steady red and the FIRE light is rapidly blinking. No other lights.

The other panel is operating fine and still seems to control the alarm system fine.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Since one of the keypads is responding normally, that means that either the wiring from the main control to the keypad is damaged; or the keypad itself has failed.

If the wiring connection at the control terminals and the keypad terminals is solid, then the next test would be to wire the keypad to the system terminals with a short length of known good wire. If the keypad works wired that way, then you have a problem with the wire; if it doesn't, then you need a keypad.
