Vista 20P zone doubling question??

I have myself confused again.

Vista 20p hardwired. If I use a NO device on zones 2,3, or 4 I lose zones 10, 11, 12, I need to know if a Honeywell IS2535 motion is NO or NC??

As long as I am here will a solex model SLCR strobe require a resistor??

Thanks JIm in SW FL

Most modern powered alarm devices like this are either NC or "form-C" which lets you choose NC or NO.

Normally, putting a siren or a strobe on the output does not require a resistor.

Thanks again MrRon

Wish you were here in the area so I could pay you to program this.

The information is in the installation manuals and sheets. With alarms you have to accept the fact that it is not an intuitive process (deliberately so), so every thing require a bit of page flipping.

I read the manual, I read the forums, I watched the videos, I watched the alarm guy program the last system I put in. It is over my head, I will gladly pay to have it programmed!
