ADT Safewatch Pro 3000

I have just purchased a home with an existing ADT Safewatch Pro 3000 system. I have the access code and the manual. I do not want to continue the monitoring with ADT, but want to utilize the alarm. I have read the previous threads, an I am afraid everyone is a few steps ahead of me. I do not have a land line, and want to have alarm notifications sent to my cell phone. What equipment do I need to do this. Thanks for any help!!

Basically, you have two choices:

An add on cellular dialer unit: United Security Products Cellular Dialer Wireless Security Systems

Or an internet system like the Envisalink: https://www.eyez-on.com/EZMAIN/Image...tartEyezOn.pdf

Ok, I know that this is not quite the correct spot for this but I have dinner on the stove. I have a safewatch pro 3000en, recently I noticed that the siren only makes a quick yelp when the alarm is tripped, instead of sounding like an actual siren..... Any ideas? The only thing that may have changed is that I eliminated our phone service. No, our system was not monitored, hasn't been in years, but it was still wired to the alarm. I am not sure it the yelp problem existed before I eliminated the landline

Typically, for Vista panels (and their clones) that means that your battery is on it's last legs. The siren draws heavily on the battery in alarm mode.

(SW-3000 is a modified Vista 20p)
