Normal to see ready to arm with windows open?

Just finished install of everything and got it all setup like i like, but something seems odd to me. If i arm/disarm system then open windows, it lets me know that faults are occuring, however it seems to be forgetting them as time goes on. It may be where im playing with the programming, but eventually ill look up and it will say ready to arm even though those windows are still open. Is this normal?

Thanks chaps!

Oh yea and chime mode keeps cutting off and i have to reenable it. Any way to get it to stay on?

If you are going in and out of programming, on most systems, the chime setting reverts to off.

What system are you working with?

The panel does not remember which wireless sensors were faulted at the time you went into program mode, and upon exiting programming mode will consider all wireless zones as Un-faulted (aka "normal" or "closed") until it receives a signal from each wireless device. All your wireless door/window/motion sensors check in with their condition approximately once an hour or so.

Hardwired devices should show their current condition as soon as you exit programming mode.
