Dsc alarm pc1616 help needed

Hi, I just finished programming my alarm system and I'm having trouble with the zone 1 which is my front door programmed on delay 1 settings. When I arm the system all seems normal the door icon disappear when i open and shut the door but when i reopen the door to test the entry delay, the alarm goes off instantly. Even if I set delay 1 to 30 30 30, alarm always goes off when i open the door.

Thanx for the help!

Check your zone type in 001, first set should be 01.

005 sets entry 1, 2, and exit. From what you desrcibed they are all. 30 seconds which is fine but just wanted you to be aware.

First zone in 001 is set to 01 but problem still persists, is there another option somewhere to have the siren sound the alarm that would bypass the entry delay?

Update...

The siren only goes off on delay entry if the door chime option is enabled on the keypad. Is there a way to keep door chime (wife really wants that option) and not have the siren go off?? Or is it maybe a defective board?

Thanx for the help!

Make sure you are completely timed out. DSC panels have an exit error feature that is enabled, by default, that makes the siren sound if a door is opened right at the end of the exit delay time out.

I think MrRonFl is on the right track. Turn off Option 6 in section 013 to disable 'Audible Exit Fault' and see if you're still having the issue.
