Post Smartwatch Pro 3000EN Wired Zone self tripping

I have Smartwatch Pro 3000EN/Ademco Vista 20P and a hard wired zone that is connected to windows keeps self tripping on it own. I have checked that shaking the windows does not trip it so it is a loose connection from what I can tell. Do you think this is a bad contact issue or is it in the panel circuit board.

Thx,

Good chance you have a short in the wire or contact. If you have more than one window on this one zone, it could be any one but probably not all that is causing the problem.

Simple test, remove the contact(s) and connect the incoming wires together basically bypassing the contact. If there is a resisor, connect the resistor between the wires. Then observe for same issues maybe over a day. If no more problems, replace contacts. Still have issues then try placing a jumper wire (or resistor) across zone terminals in panel. If this solves problem and not previous, then you have a wire issue.

If both of these tests fail, then may have faulty board but highly unlikely for only one zone.

You may get lucky and find a bad connection to the contact at the window...
