Hi,
My control panel is a ULC PC5010/PC5015 with an Intellisense FG-1625T four wire glass break detector.
i want to permanently remove this detector, two rooms have been opened into one, and the other room had another of the same detector, each wired to it's own zone in the box.
I believe that if I simply disconnect the power and signal wires for this device at the box (4 wires total), it will show as an error on the control panel?
Thanks for any help.
All the best,
Paul

Replace the zone wires with a 5.6k resistor (green blue red for the first 3 stripes), and you are good to go.
If they set your system to not need resistors, a simple wire jumper will do the trick.

Thanks Mr. Ron. I tried a jumper and all seems to be working great.
If it requires a resistor rather than a simple jumper, would the system give a fault code right away?
