Replacement of Ademco Keypad

I have read in the forum that an Ademco 6150 is the replacement to my 6128 keypad. My alarm panel is No. 4110XM. Is the 6150 still what I need or is there another keypad that is better?

Also I would like to add a second keypad in my house back in my bedroom. Are there DIY instructions for doing this with this alarm panel and does this affect which keypad I should buy for both locations?

Thanks,

Yes, for that model, the 6150 is what you need. The higher end 6160 is not compatible with your system.

To add another keypad drop, get a 4 conductor cable from the desired location to the alarm control enclosure. It would connect to the same connections as the existing keypad.

In both cases, power the system down before breaking or making any keypad connections (no, you will not lose programming).
