Vista20P + 6162RF + 5828V

Is there a way to disable the “Fault” annunciation when chime mode is on and a door or window is opened? For example, back door is setup for zone 3 with Alpha descriptors “Back Door Open”. When chime is on and rear door opens, 5828V announces “Fault, Back Door Open”. Can I disable the “Fault” part? If possible, which setting do I have to chance in either the Vista20P, 6162RF, or 5828V to disable it? Thanks in advance for any help.

Nope, that part of the voice keypads is kinda hardwired (not really a fan, but they have their uses for the visually impaired)...

Red face

You should be able to silence the voice altogether and hear only the beeps but I cant remember how.

# 2 1 ?? Function voice off. Might scan the keypad manual

He didn't want to silence the annunciation. He wanted to make it NOT use the word "Fault".
