Please help with Dsc 832 issues

So I stopped having the alarm monitored by the local alarm company about a year
Ago , just called them up and canceled , the panel showed trouble , but never any issues , every thing seems to work ok, but a trouble light was on

Now about 6 months later , the alarm starts beeping every few hours , I checked
The error *2. And it shows error 3 and 4

So I do the following
Turn off the phone and dialer with the following
To disable the phone line: *8 5555 015 7 ##
To turn off the phone dialer: *8 5555 380 1 ##

Then unplug plug and battery and re plug all

It works for a while trouble light goes away , then about 4 hours later the beeping starts

Check for error *2 and sometimes it shows error 3 sometimes error 4
I go though the whole routine again
But get the same results
Anyone know why I can't turn off numbers 3 and 4 still
It's driving me crazy,
I am a new member thanks for any help on this
Ron

Are you certain that you are actually getting into programming? 5555 is the factory default installer code; it's highly likely that the prior monitoring service changed that code.

You need the installer code. Master or User codes will not get you into programming.

Short of a lucky guess, or methodical brute force (trying one code after another), the only to get access to programming is to default the system and start over from scratch (you would have to reprogram all of you zone and other configuration settings).

Do you have the installer manual and programming work sheets? http://bulletcam.ca/dl/dsc/DSC%20power-832-(PC5010).pdf

Do you think if I call the company that used to monitor the alarm they would
Tell me what the code is ?
Stating over from default seems very technical
That will be a challenge for sure
When I do the sequence I stated below , should there be a text on the lcd screen stating I am in programming mode ?
I think I saw that
Thanks for your continued support on this

Please see page 20 of the installer manual, depending on which keypad model, you get slightly different indications, but in general it beeps rapidly about 6-8 times when the correct code is entered.
