Any Smoke should work if the plugs are the same.
Some even come with an adapter.
You Did try and Google the make and model # right?

Those are some old clunkers and do need to be replaced.
You can replace them with System Sensor 4 wire smoke detectors.

This is just one..... there are more..... System Sensor Fire Alarm Products

Be sure to ID the wiring on your smoke detectors before disconnecting them. There isn't always a standard wire color code used.

Just received the new 4 wire smoke detectors and am installing them now. The old smokes have plugs, the new has screw terminals. The old smoke has, two red (+power), two black (gnd), two purple and two white w/ purple stripe wires. The new smoke has screw terminals +, -, N.O. and C.

QUESTION: does it matter if the purple or white w/ purple stripe are connected to the N.O. or C terminals or vice versa? Red and black are obvious.

There is no polarity on the N.O. / C terminals.
