Interconnected wireless smokes on Vista platform?
Hello,
I have a Vista 20P, and my local residential fire code allows wireless smokes as long as they are *interconnected* (i.e., one gets activated, they all sound).
Are there any wireless interconnected smokes that work with the Vista? Are there even wired examples?
I really prefer to have smokes connected to my panel - higher quality/not as prone to false alarm, and plus the fire dept gets automatically called. I really don't want a whole separate set of 120VAC hardwired smokes if I can make this work in the alarm panel ecosystem.
Appreciate any ideas and recommendations.
Thanks!

This model has a built in sounder, and of course would also sound the system horn(s), which some jurisdictions will accept in place of interconnected smoke alarms; however that's a question for your local Authority Having Jurisdiction.

There are also wired smoke detectors that have an internal sounder that can be tied to the panel. When one smoke detector goes off.... it trips the alarm and the panel activates the sounders in each smoke detector base.
This is a very effective system but requires at least a four wire cable, and usually six wire, between the panel and the daisy chained smoke detectors.
If you go with the wireless smoke detectors then you'll need a sounder at least on each floor for the smoke alarm audible.

For wired, you would need a compatible reversing module (these are brand specific) e.g. https://www.systemsensor.com/en-us/D...t_A05-0350.pdf
And, of course, you need smokes with a sounder built in: https://www.systemsensor.com/en-us/D...t_A05-0348.pdf
