Vista 20p sounder output question

Strange request...is there a way to make the sounder output (terminal 3) steady for fire alarms instead of pulsed? I am using relays to different devices and need continuous for fire and burg. Thanks

That's a hardwired function on V20p panels. To get a steady output, you would need to use the output connector, and program an output to turn on steady in alarm.

Thank you. What do you mean by output connector? The auxiliary power output?

The specific name is the onboard trigger connectors. See page 2-11 in the installation manual: http://www.nationwidesecuritycorp.co...all-Manual.pdf

Also, take note of the current limitations on these outputs.

If the primary goal is triggering relays; the outputs are definitely the way to go, that is going to be a low current application.
