Remote water and freeze alarm - any recommendations?

We own two homes and want to be able to get a warning if the temp drops or if there is water detected in the home that is vacant.

I've poked around online some but wanted to get recommendations from folks that have installed and lived with one for a while.

My thought is that the device will connect to our house wifi and be able to transmit an alert to our smartphones if the temp drops below a certain number or if water is detected.

Ay experience with these devices?

Thanks!

If you already have an alarm system any a/d converter with a temperature and float sensor with outputs will work. I don't have a source but making one from OTC stuff should be pretty easy.

Come to think about it, if there is a sump a float with a switch will wire directly into an alarm panel, and there are cheap digital thermometers you could use like maybe

Auber Instruments
Digital EGT Thermometer/Pyrometer with Analog Output
