Adding wireless to a DSC 832 system, can I?

Hi there. I have an older DSC 832 system that has 16 wired zones, and two non-LCD control panels installed at my home.

I would like to add wireless capabilities to this setup, but I am not sure if I need to replace the control panels - since it seems adding a RF5132-433 would exceed the 16-zones that the panel is capable is displaying?

Do you know if there is a way to keep using the same control panels, or do I need to get new ones?

Many thanks,
-turgut

The smart way to add the wireless is to change the keypads. Get one of the RFK-5500 or RFK-5501 to act as the wireless receiver; and the other as a PK-5500/5501. That solves the display problem and covers the receiver in one pass.

These are the newer models, but are backward compatible to the older Power Series panels.
