Convert GSMV4G to work with Verizon

I have a GSMV4G panel that is set for ATT networks. Unfortunately where I moved, ATT is not available. Verizon is the main system. Can the communications module or any component be switched to support Verizon networks? I'd prefer not to have to buy a new panel. Thanks ahead!

As far as I know.... no.... the systems are not compatible.

AT&T uses GSM technology.
Verizon used CDMA technology.

If you're in a fringe area... you might be able to use an external antenna.

Thanks PJmax. Inside the unit, there's a daughter board that seems to contain the comm electronics and SIM card. I'm wondering if swapping that board and SIM card would work -- and more importantly, if so, are these boards even available for purchase somewhere.

I'll probably end up buying a whole new box, but I thought I'd throw this out just in case.

That's the trick: The Verizon phone system doesn't use the same protocals. Basically you have to get a CDMA-X
