Simon 3 TIlt Sensor
Hi
I had a tilt sensor working on my garage door with my Simon 3 but moved and couldn't find it so I bought another one on eBay. I installed the original one so long ago that I can't remember how to program this new one into the system again. Pulled battery, tripped tamper switch, tilted, nothing..... Anyone know how to trip these so they get learned into the Simon 3? It is a SWS-ATT-TILT. Sku# 40918. There is one on ebay now, item# 282610068776.
Thanks

I think the tilt sensor you have is made for a different brand/product line. The correct one that is compatible with a Simon is the TX-E.

Thanks. I am giving up on this current one and will pick up one of those TX-E. The one I had before that worked looked exactly like the one i picked up so not sure what is going on but am guessing now that the guts may be different.
