Mr. Ron, My garage door alarm wireless transmitter gave me a fault on zone 13. Tried changing battery and no change. Bought new wireless sensors GE SECURITY 60-362-10-319.5 NX-650 WIRELESS. Deprogrammed old sensor *8 master code 1234 192# 413# press 1 disable * * exit exit Added new sensor to alarm and heard ding dong. New sensor works, states zone okay while using enclosed magnet on reed switch, but when I wire it to (rollup door A) sensor/magnet used for rollup door, states fault. I took my other rollup door B transmitter (I have two rollup doors A and B) and it works on the other rollup door A sensor/magnet where I am trying to install a new transmitter. Taking new transmitter and putting it on the rollup door B still states fault. So new transmitter states fault on both rollup door sensors/magnets. I have proved both of my sensor/magnets for both rollup doors are good. Seems like I cannot program a new transmitter to either rollup door sensor/magnet. Only sensor that I can program to either rollup door and it not give fault message is rollup door B's old transmitter. Please see pictures. What can I be missing? Thanks

Hello, I have an ADT Safewatch Pro 3000 that came pre-wired in my house when I bought the house. I recently cancelled ADT because of paying outrageous fees of 44.95 a month for alarm that was using my home phone. I only had a phone line for my home alarm system. So decided to call a company and setup my alarm via phone where they can do remote takeover and have like a central station for monitoring my alarm and not having to use any big name company's. I decided to buy a Home Phone Connect 3 (ting.com) which has a built in chip that will give you a dial-tone. I am able to connect it directly into my Telephone Patch panel into the slot for the RJ45 (rj31x). When my alarm went off, it dialed the appropriate number but the gentlemen mentioned that he was not receiving the "data packets" or something of that sort. He basically compared what I had and his type of error as similar to being someone that would try to setup an alarm using a land line with Majic jaxx box. My friend has my same Home phone connect (sprint box) and it works beautifully for his home alarm. Alarm central stations use data packets? I thought if it just dialed the number when activated it would be good enough? I donno, this is all new to me, any help and guidance would help, thanks. Joe.
