V20p 2 new problems, and I thought I was doing so well!

I have 2 brand new problems. First I was trying to install a key fob in expert mode, zone 53, number 3, and when It showed the 2nd descriptor, it should have led to the 'Serial Number' entry, but 'Partition 1' displayed. I pressed star to get out. Repeating, same result. Needless to say it didn't install. The second problem happened next: When I was restoring AC , after the Standby message, the 6160rf said CHECK 100 RF RECEIVER. That message and the Disarm Bypass, Ready to arm, alternate on the display. I powered down and noticed the keypad negative power wire was slightly loose. I secured it and powered up. Same display.. That's where I'm at. Thanks for any suggestions...

Pg 42 of the Programming Guide, various trouble displays .. CHECK 1xx it's the display. My mssg says check 100. Maybe zone 100? I'll do a system check and see if all my wreless sensors report.

I think my 'check 100 RF' problem is gone..

After doing a Test all wireless sensors reported and after quitting I went to programming (20) to view zone 100 and without recognizing there are only 56 zones... I put in 100 and settled for 00. And got out... Now the problem is gone! I will do more reading and highlighting the User's Guide (ie page 43) and Programming Guide.

Key fob works!

I got it working. I had one zone type wrong. I had Trouble when it should have been Arm Away. Then it "authorized". No problems.
I disabled zone 08 which was having to be bypassed. Disabled but not Deleted.
