How do I identify my alarm board
i bought a house that had an alarm system in it. I was never given a code and now it has a low battery alarm which is annoying. I replaced the lead acid battery, but the panel still says low battery.
can anyone help identify this board?

No, that isn't a Honeywell/Ademco board. Look at the terminals, bottom left. No HW/Ademco board looked like that. I'm thinking maybe one of the GE Concord panels?
A picture of the Keypad would help ID the brand.

That's definitely a keypad for one of the GE Concord panels, but I'm not familiar enough with GE panel to tell which one from the pix. Wait a little longer and somebody more familiar with GE will probably weigh in.
I suspect that without any code, you may have to replace the panel--I seem to recall there's no easy way to get around not knowing an Installer's code. However, you won't have to replace the Keypad if you replace the panel with the same model.
As long as the keypad works, of course.

That is a GE/ITI Concord. By the manufacture date it's one of the older models; most likely a Concord 1 or 2, that has been modified for and installed by ADT.
Normally, the system can be IDed by the wiring diagram on the door of the enclosure.

So, reading through some threads either I get REAL lucky and guess the master code or get the installing Co. code.
No chance of the second happening, any common numbers to try like 1234?
If i want to get a new board and keypad, what is the best way for me to do that?

You might get lucky. They don't like us to post codes on this board, but Google "ADT Installer Code". They tend to use the same Installer Code for all their accounts.
Also Google ITI (or GE) Concord Installation and Programming manuals (It's been awhile since I worked with ITI/GE and I can't remember if they're separate manuals.) GE bought our ITI years ago but I think the original Concord panels were still under ITI--you may need to try both brands to find your panel.

If you don't know or can't guess the system master code, pretty much all you can do with a concord is to clear memory (default) and reset everything from scratch.
Verify which model. Somewhere on that, there should be a model number like (60-734,
or 60-792)
With a 1994 date, I'm fairly sure that it's a earlier model: http://www.alarmhow.net/manuals/UTC/...n%20Manual.pdf
