Wireless zones on Nx-6V2
Using the NX-148E-RF:
On the NX-6V2, I used Loc. 194 and chose Bank 1 with a starting zone of 9, but I reread the directions and it said choosing a bank only pertained to the NX-8E.
Then it had a paragraph about the NX-8, which I will ignore...
So on the NX-6V2 can I use any of the 1-6 zones as a wireless zone , as long as I don't have anything wired to that zone?
Why did it then say "no hardwired expanders can be used"? Used for wireless, or if I put any wireless zones into the panel, I can't use a hardwire expander, OR, I can't use a hardwire expander at all with the NX6V2???
Then it goes on to say "All other panels can have wireless zones added to any hardwire zone input (panel or expansion board)...as long as it is not wired. If it is, the wireless takes priority. What Other Panels???
Thanks for any help with this!

PS: I got my DXL900 to program remotely! I am SO proud!

The NX-6V2 can have either wireless zone expansion, or hardwired zone expansion; but not both. Either option maxes out the available zones for this model.
The instructions for these modules are also referencing the NX-4, NX-6, & NX-8 models, as well as their V2 & E versions.

Thanks, Mr. Ron! But, am I right in reading that on the control panel of the 6V2 it can be mixed - some hardwired and some wireless?
How about the 8V2? Do I work with banks of 8 with no overlap of wired and wireless, or can I put in a wireless zone, say on input 15 with a hard wire on 14 and 16?

Another ? about wireless on NX-6V2

So... on 6V2: can I?
1,2,3,4, zone 5 (wireless) and 6 wired (of a 4 wire )smoke and
1,2,3,4,5,6 wired smoke and 7 wireless?
Thanks!
