Hello all, I've seen a million threads about this particular system, but nothing seems to help with my situation. Like many others, bought a home that already had the Safewatch pro 3000 system installed with a 6150 keypad. When I moved in, there was only 1 door sensor left in the house and 1 smoke alarm. The keypad functions, ie, I have numbers and whatnot on the display but I am assuming that programming was wiped out some time long ago. I recently bought 2 more door sensors, for a total of 3. They are all 3 5816 sensors. I don't know off hand what kind the smoke alarm is. My ultimate goal is to activate all 3 of the door sensors and have them chime whenever the door is open. It would be a bonus if I could arm it at night, door sensors only, but not necessary. Can someone give me some guidance here? I've downloaded the manual for the Vista 20p, but it's about as clear as mud. I do know that the brains of the system work. I was able to enter programer mode with the default code + 800. I'm just not sure where to go from there. I've read that the 6150 isn't great for programming, but purchasing another keypad isn't an option right now. Like I said, I'm not even worried about the smoke alarm. I just want the 3 door sensors to chime when someone opens a door, able to arm those 3 sensors at night is a bonus. Any suggestions? I currently have a hardwired smoke detector on second floor and two battery operated independent smoke detectors in basement and first floor. I am coming up on end of use date on the upstairs detector so I am looking for replacements that will use the wiring available but interconnect wirelessly to first floor and basement. I am also looking for combo units (smoke and CO detection). Suggestions? Thanks
