Program Z 1100 zone for keyswitch

I would like to program one of the zones on my Z 1100 panel door with the key switch I would like to set it up to arm it self every night at a certain time I’ve looked at the manual that I have and I’m not sure how to program the zone to be a key switch zone. Anyone here able to help me? Thanks so much

Programming a Keyswitch Zone

  • If you want the zone to be a keyswitch zone, write down 5 for that zone.
  • If you want the zone to be SHUNTABLE, write down 8 for that zone.
  • If you want the zone to be supervisory, write down 128 for that zone.
Add the numbers and write down the total. That's the value you'll program into the panel for your keyswitch zone.

A word to the wise: Make sure you have battery backup on the timer you connect to the keyswitch zone. And don't forget about Daylight Savings Time.

Do you have the installer code?

Do you know which version of the system you have? The Z1100, Z1100 System II, and Z1100E have different programming manuals and maps.

It should be this manual: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/11...ose-Z1100.html

Bear in mind, this hardware is over 20 years old...
