DSC Powerseries door sensor wiring

Hi,

I just moved in this new house who has DSC PC1555 alarm system.

We just changed our front door and the worker accidentally cut our wire which connect the door censor (recessed). I've tried to connect them back and my zone 1 (front door only) is always trouble.

It's a 4 colours wire (red, black, yellow and green). I connected the recessed door censor to a green and a yellow wire. In the panel: z1 = yellow wire and com = green wire.

I've tried several combination and nothing seems to work.

Any ideas of how to reconnect the wires?

Thanks!

Burglary zones usually have a 5600-Ohm End-of-Line Resistor (EOLR) somewhere in series in the zone loop. (If you don't know what a resistor looks like, Google it.) It will have color bands of green-blue-red-gold. If you didn't see a resistor connected at the panel terminals (look again, it may be covered with tape), then it's possible it was cut away from the connections at the door sensor and will have to be reinstalled.
