Ce Encryptor 3 fob problem

I have tried to reenroll the encryptor ,after removing powercable, reinstalling while holding the program button and releasing after led lights. The unit flashes 6 times.

When I attempt to enter user code, holding the program button until led stops flashing,
releasing the program button the unit only flashes 1 time instead of the fast flashing to enter the user code on the keypad.

How can I fix this issue?

What base system are you attaching this to?

Base system is Vista 20P.

Attempted to re program security code again today, unit finally went to fast flashing. When attempting to arm with the Keyfob, Keypad lighted but system would not arm.

Do you have keypad address 17 enabled in the alarm system programming, and don't have another device on that same address?

Is the code you are programming enrolled in the system? Does it work as a normal code entered from the keypad?

Based on your description, you are following the steps correctly. There aren't any hidden programming settings that would keep you from arming through the keypad bus, especially if the CE unit has functioned correctly, in the past, and you reinstalled it the same way you disconnected it.

At this point all I can suggest is to delete the remote, and learn it back in.
