Wireless Door Sensor Odd Behavior

I have a Honeywell Ademco Vista series security system with wireless sensors on the doors and windows. No zones are bypassed. Two sensors fail to set the alarm off when armed but do operate the chime when not armed and chime is enabled. I find that puzzling that the sensors are communicating fine with the control unit but not when it is armed. If I bypass those two zones, they do not chime (as expected). Also, I replaced the sensor batteries but that did not help.

Any thoughts as to what the issue might be? Thanks in advance for looking!

After you arm the system, are you waiting out the exit delay time before you open the doors in question?

To be clear, you're sure these aren't entry/exit doors?

These are doors. Does that matter?

My test was using the "Stay" arming. I assumed I did not have to wait because one of the doors instantly sets the alarm off. Your post made me try it with a longer delay before I tested it. The system works as designed. Thanks ChosunOne

Yes, the exit delay timer still runs in _all_ arming modes. It's in the user manual, but it's buried in a block of text.
