Installing alarm wire in concrete block home
Im wiring a new home and Im not very familiar with concrete block.
Since the house will be block and furring strips, how do I wire the doors and windows? The window will will be tile so I dont want to drill a hole there, I think I can put the sensor on the side of the window instead.
Has anyone installed alarm wire for a window in a block home? Do you have any photo on how you did it?

Your options are going to vary a good bit, depending on the type of window frame (most vinyl windows, for example, will void the warranty if you make holes in them for security contacts.)
With a tile trim, you will probably need to accept that you will have a short expanse of exposed wire, or wire-mold.

What would be helpful is a picture of the window you want to protect...... How-to-insert-pictures.
With most new windows being vinyl..... I will rarely drill a hole anywhere in them. I use mostly mini magnetic glue on switches. I use a bit of contact adhesive to stick them right to the vinyl. They come with attached wires or without.
