HD backup camera monitor

Hi All, we plan on using a HD backup camera monitor as a drive in movie theater on a model RR , the camera will be pointed so as to have customers faces in it via a camera we already own, problem being the camera is not HD , will that cause a problem?

You need to check whether the dashboard clip on screen accepts a variet of video inputs as opposed to just the video feed from the supplied back up camera.

A 60 foot screen is about 8 inches in HO scale. (The maximum drive in screen I saw described on a web site was 120 feet.)

In typical model railroad modeling, an authentically shaped and sized drive in theater would take up so much space on a layout that modelers usually make it to hold fewer cars than a prototype theater.Or model just half of the theater and have the other half painted as rear wall flat scenery. A six inch screen sould seem suitable for an HO layout.

Since most of us are used to smart phones with HDTV resolution on a 3 inch screen, a 6 inch screen not in HD will look grainy by comparison. But that might not look too obtrusive if the theater is not at the front of the train layout.

No sir...... no problem at all. You don't need to see HD on the monitor anyway.
Basically the kids faces and some movement.
