CADDX CSD-40 Siren driver - docs?

I just obtained one of these in a second hand system, and was looking for the installation/ spec sheet on it, to explain the terminals, power, etc. Have not been successful with Google.

Thanks,
Dave.

Welcome to the forums.

It's a five terminal dual sound 30 watt siren driver board.
It requires approx 2A @ 12vdc
The output into 8 ohms is around 25-30 watts

There should be two terminals for the speaker.
One terminal for yelp tone
One terminal for continuous tone
One terminal for input ground.

Right. So which are inputs and outputs?
So far I'm assuming the speaker terminals connect to the siren. And from my DSC PC1832, the "Bell" terminals connect to the GND, and Yelp?

Yes.... that is correct.

Don't use a speaker of less than 8 ohms.
Don't connect two speakers to the board. If you do.... they must be in series.

This high power alarm module will tax your panel.
It is imperative that the battery be in good condition.
