New 6 digit serial numbers?

Hi All

I've got a DSC Power832 PC5010 with an added PC5132-RS (wireless receiver)

One of my motion sensors died and I couldn't find any WLS-904s so I bought WS4904P. Quick research said it would work with a PC5132.

My trouble is that when I go into section 804 to change the Serial number to the new PIR I only have 5 digits on the panel and 6 on the PIR.

Is there a way to change this or do I need to go looking for WLS-904 on ebay or should I upgrade the PC5132?

I've only got two PIR units but I've got 6 door contacts. If I upgrade the PC5132 will the old 5 digit door contacts work on the newer system?

Is there a way to upgrade the software of the 5132 without replacing the whole box? I have lots of different eprom programmers and am very good at reflashing or re-writing if the file is available.

Thanks for your help.

The receiver you have is a 900mhz model. All current production DSC products are 433mhz.
Sadly, that product series has been out of production for a long time. Any compatible transmitters you can find, are, at best, "new old stock" from a 3rd party reseller.

Thanks MrRonFL, I don't know how I missed that.

I'll sell these and buy the 900MHz ones.
