Vista-20P Armed in Stay

Iíve discovered that when my Vista-20P is armed in stay mode it still allows the entry time on the two entry doors to expire before it goes into alarm condition. Is this right or did I miss something in programming the system. The doors are set to Zone Types 1 & 2. I had assumed that in stay mode, the entry delay would be zero.

The entry delay runs in all arming modes except INSTANT, and MAXIMUM.

It's in the user manual, but is buried in a block of text.

I found that info clearly explained in the User Manual. I’d simply missed this important section. No that I understand the arming modes, I realize that I’m going to want to arm the system in “INSTANT” mode instead of “STAY” mode at night. I tested it last night and got the result I wanted.

This has brought up another question. My wife has grown accustomed to using a wireless key to arm the system at night. I don’t see a way to set up the wireless key to arm in INSTANT mode. Is this even possible or do I need to retrain her?

To my recollection, there's no option to program a wireless key to do instant or maximum mode arming.
You have to activate those modes manually. It's really an anti-false alarm feature decision.

Thanks for the details. We can arm the system in INSTANT mode with our phones since it has an Envisalink module. We’ll learn to live with this small limitation.
