Extra time on your hands
The holidays are here and if you find you have extra time on your hands. You might DONATE that time to those less fortunate. There are various organizations in need of volunteers to help feed,clothe,escort,or otherwise help out those in need. Christmas baskets are now being organized and they need people to help sort, box and deliver packages.
You can pretty much decide your hours and locations. This "job" has the rewarding pay of knowing you helped out someone less fortunate and made their holiday a bit better.

Local Food Banks are always in need of volunteers to help with distributions, and they are always in need of food and money. Your local Humane Society can also use volunteers, pet food, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Many people in nursing homes have no one to visit them. There are many volunteer opportunities in communities. And, the needs are great.
