Doing online surveys for money
Does anybody do online surveys in their spare time for money? Ive heard you can make some pretty good money doing these. Ive been to a few sites to sign up for them, but they want like $40 or so to sign up. I dont have a problem paying that up front fee, but would like to know if anybody has done this before and if it is worth it. Thanks

Just like anything else on the net, if they ask for money in advance...its a SCAM!!! My wife does surveys, e-rewards, epinions(?) that gives rewards (gift cards, discounts, etc).
Word of warning, you don't have to pay to get paid.

i hear ya on paying is usually a scam. I currently do MyPoints which has small surveys. I open a bunch of Junk emails more less everyday and i usually get about $40 or $50 in restraunt gift cards per year and my fiancee gets about $30 a year in gift cards. It isnt much, but gets us some discounts on going out to eat. I would like to find some surveys that i can make $50 or so per month. Just something to offset a night out every month. Ideally it would be more around $150-$200 per month worth of gift cards or cash. Ive heard of people making $10-15k per year doing these online surveys, so to make a few hundred shouldnt be too unreasonable.

Yea I'm doing some surveys for a little extra cash. It might not be a lot of money unless you put a lot of time in it and have a lot of programs you are reaping the rewards from. I found a good survey place at ********
You won't be able to live off it but it could be some beer money perhaps?

I participate with one on-line survey company-- they send it out perhaps once a week and it takes maybe 15 minutes to complete. I always decline the "chance to win" the prize money, as I don't feel its worth the effort. I enjoy doing the surveys when time and my mood permit, but as for a way of making money, you don't get something for nothing!
