Magnet weather-stripping

My back door has tongue & groove weather stripping.
The kids slam the door until it's closed, sometimes causing the track to bend.
It's a pain to keep the alignment straight.
I'm thinking magnetic stripping might be a better method.
Any thoughts on replacing tongue with magnetic?
Thanks.

You can go to http://doityourself.com/store/doorja...rstripping.htm and look at the different types of weather-stripping. Since the door has tongue and groove weather-stripping, it should be wood. I have never seen magnetic weather-stripping on a wood door. You want to choose weather-stripping that will fill in the gap between the door and the jamb after the groove is removed. There are quite a few choices for you there.
