floor insul.

Winter's around the corner. With an expected price rise in oil, I'm seeking good insulating 'non-itchy' stuff to tuck up between the floor joists. MA temps go to single digits, but rarely below zero.
Ideas?

Hi:quincyguy
A visit to the local retail hardware chain store and you'll find several choices of insulation for the purpose.
Regardless of which type you install, it will be a major improvement over not having any insulation.
HINTS:
Under house work, especially working on ones back, requires safety eye protection. Do wear some for your personal protection.
Be a good idea to have a helper remain outside, just in case something does go wrong.
