On a TV program, I recently saw a segment on insulating electrical outlets. They mentioned foam gaskets. Does anyone know where I can purchase them. Home Depot didn't know what I was talking about.

Let your fingers do the walking, and just call around. They're not that uncommon, just because someone at Home Depot doesn't know about them. Good Luck!

Home Depot has them, Lowes has them, Sears has them. Find a salesman that knows.

floor insul.

Winter's around the corner. With an expected price rise in oil, I'm seeking good insulating 'non-itchy' stuff to tuck up between the floor joists. MA temps go to single digits, but rarely below zero. Ideas? Thanks ahead of time

Aluminum Storm windows

We have the really old aluminum storm window - single pane, etc. They have mitered corners that are connected with a pin in the corner. Most of them have at least one corner (some have 3) that have separated. Right now, we don't want to replace them, just repair the corners. Is there a good way to do this? Is there a reliable kit? I had one repaired at a local glass shop and it cost me $35. I figure I can do it myself for less.
