Weatherproofing Windows

I am getting drafts from all of my windows and need to weatherproof them. I was thinking of using the plastic to do it. Can anyone recommend a brand and he method used to seal the plastic around the windows.

3M makes a product for self adhesive plastic over windows which you can get at any home improvement store. Just follow the instructions that come with it, it is fairly easy to install but some what expensive. A word of caution there has been reports where small children have pulled down the plastic over windows, wrapped themselves in it and suffocated. Also be aware of windows that may be used as a fire exit and firemen don't like it because they might not be aware you have it on your windows.
