Garage Ceiling insulation
I will be insulating the garage ceiling which is not heated. So the paper side will be at the top exposing the insulation side at the bottom of the joist. So how do I attach this to the joist since the paper side is on top.
Can I use a Poly sheet and staple to the joist so that insulation does not fall ?
Thanks

Most municipalities require insulation in a garage (heated or unheated) be covered with a fire proof material (eg. sheetrock). I would strongly recommend you check with your local fire department on the specific code requirements for your area before you begin anything. They will probably tell you the best way to attach the insulation and which way the vapor barrier, if any, is installed in your area.
