Insulating window film

I want to put this on a bay window (only three panes) and want it to last more than one year. Any advice on where to buy quality film is much appreciated. This is to be used to keep the room warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

Thank you!

Karen

Insulated window film

Just learned about two products - 3M and Courtaulds. Any experience with either of these two?

Frost King also makes them. They are a Mylar film stretched across the inside or outside of the window frame then using a heat gun or hair dryer to shrink the film very tightly in place. They are mainly meant for winter time use but I suppose they can stay up all year. The only concern I have would be the sun breaking down the film until they tare.

As far as I'm concerned they are a temporary or stop gap measure only. If you use these on a regular basis then your windows need replacing.
