Weatherstripping stapled in

A piece of weatherstripping tore loose and I need to replace it. The problem is that it was stapled in and the staples are inaccessible, no way to pry them loose or put new ones in. Perhaps they were stapled in before the door jamb was installed. How can I replace this stripping?
Thanks!

A view showing there is no easy way to remove the staples as they are not visible except if you look in the thin space where the stripping goes

First two pictures are so fussy it's hard to see what your trying to show, and from what I can see somethings really wrong with that install.
Are the first two pictures inside or outside?
No way should a properly installed door or storm door need stapled on foam insulation.

It would be tedious but you could take a hacksaw blade and cut them.

This is inside. I added some annotations to the pictures. They look like staples, they are thin metal things. It's a very tight space and hard to get a clear picture.

I just applied some gorilla glue and will hope it stays.
