I want to seal a 1/4" drilled hole in the bottom of a metal gutter. In regard to Flex Seal, do you recommend their tape, paste, Quick Shot, or spray? And should I place a piece of plastic or cellphone first before applying the FlexSeal? Or will the FlexSeal material expand enough by itself to cover the hole?
I know there are products made specifically for gutters, but I'd like to use Flex Seal.
I am wiring my new detached garage looking ahead to insulation. I would love to have closed cell foam sprayed in, but afraid of the cost. As I consider standard fiberglass I can see there will be voids behind electrical boxes.
Is there any value to spray foam in these areas?
The person now sleeping in that room has sleep apnea and best solution has been to keep the temperature at 69 degrees. That room cannot get to 69degrees even in the dead of winter.
Obviously we're going to switch back rooms, but the rooms are 20' down the hall from each other and one is climate controlled by the HVAC, that room is warm no matter what so it's not an HVAC issue. In fact, all the heat ducts have been blocked in that room so no heat should be going into it via the HVAC, the other room is cooler so it's not getting heat from there (both rooms are on the top floor of a townhouse), where is this heat coming from and how do we stop it?
