Climbing Roses

This may be the wrong forum, but tried the first two topics in this forum only to get an ad for Dupont in both topic headings. Looks like some sort of spam...
Anyway, we have a very nice climbing rose...the species we don't know...which has beautiful foliage each year, but no flowers. I'm sure it sounds familiar to the rose experts...appreciate any help.
Thanx.
Charlie.

Without much information, here are some general suggestions...

Has your climbing rose ever bloomed? The climber can take a few years before the first bloom. If they have bloomed, were they ever pruned?

Roses need lots of sunlight, are they planted in an area where they are getting several hours of sun?

Make sure they get lots of water, and early in the day.

Patience and love always help!

Thank you SweetShelby. They're about 10 years old. Bloomed a little last year...first time. When to prune...?? Foliage looks great. Would a specific fertilizer help...?? Thanx again.
