Swamp Cooler Sprays Water into Room

Our swamp cooler suddenly started spraying water into the room, soaking the carpet and a chair. It has always operated perfectly and nothing seems to have changed with the flow of water or the fan's functioning. We live in very DRY Colorado: humidity is not a problem here. Any ideas about what might be going on?

You either have a leak on the float valve that supplies water or the hose from pump to distributor is leaking or one of the lines from distibutor to a pad is leaking and water is being sucked in fan intake.
