replace/clean mastercool control board connector?
I have a mastercool with various symptoms of a failing control board. The thermostat fails to turn off the pump, or the fan kicks on by itself (even though the thermostat is off), etc. An evap guy gave me a quote to do the whole thermostat/control board replacement, but he said it might just be the 4 pin connector because it looks corroded.
Is there a way we can clean it or replace that connector ourselves (and see if we can save a few hundred bucks a while longer?)? Is it a standard connector we can buy somewhere?

With the symptoms you describe, the corroded plug has nothing to do with the problems. You would be better off to go to Lowes and buy the new Dial brand low voltage kit and replace your obsolete setup.
Also make sure to eliminate that dumb motor plug, dont know why Adobe air used it but they are not long lived and I feel they are too light of duty for the purpose they serve.
