Replacement Pump for Adobeair EP200

I have what I think is a Mastercool swamp/evaporative cooler. The water pump is an Adobeair EP 200, .8 amp, 44 watt, 1-phase, 60 hz, 120 volt. Any suggestions as to what replacement part i should use? I am not sure about the gallons per hour and don't know what to look for.

Thank you.

This should work: https://www.indoorcomfortsupply.com/...ction&key=2511

I believe HomeDepot sells a similar replacement pump.

To be 100% sure, we'd need the model no of your swamp cooler...

That pump is rated for 200 GPH.
The large number on the new replacement pumps represents the CFM air delivery of the unit.

In the past I've recommended a Dial 1414. Slightly higher GPH rating

A second choice is a Little Giant pump. Slightly lower GPH rating than the Dial 1414.

The model Paul listed is also a possible replacement pump.

I have bought the right pump for our swamp cooler and have one more question. it comes with an AC plug which I have to cut off, as the power wires insert individually into slots on the control unit. I know that the green wire is the ground. Is there a way to distinguish between positive and negative wires on the power cord? For example - is the wire that is to the bigger of the two plug prongs one or the other?

Hard to describe, but hopefully you get the point.

Thanks

Charlie

The wire to the wider blade is the neutral connection and the narrower blade is the hot wire. The neutral wire will often be white and the hot black.
