trim: pt and prime?

trim: pt and prime?

I am replacing lots of porch trim and architextual trim under the soffit. I have pressure treated wood, but do I need to prime the back side to before I install it?

If at all possible, prime all surfaces before installation. It adds years to the life of the material and makes painting much easier.
