T-111 and Stucco

Hello everyone,
I have a few questions I hope you can help me with. My house is 18 yrs old and currently has T-111 siding. I was wondering how long T-111 siding usually last? Also I was thinking of replacing it with stucco. Ball park figure, how much does stucco cost to put on a house (materials and labor). My house is a rancher about 2600 sqft.
Or should I just replace the T-111?
I am thinking of painting and sealing the siding this summer for the time being.
Your thoughts and comments are appreciated.

As with anything else, maintenance makes all the difference. I don't know why it should not last 50 years. The wood siding on my house is 65 years old.
