power washing - window leakage
is it typical when power washing siding to get leakage thru the windows (or are you supposed to keep the power washer away from windows). Had my home painted few years ago and when the power washed prior to painting, good bit of water came in thru the windows to the interior.

There is always a chance of water infiltration when pressure washing around windows and doors.
It would be my guess that whoever did the pressure washing didn't have a lot of experience. I always tread lightly around any areas that may let water thru - windows, doors, soffit vents, etc. The direction of the water flow can also determine if water may cause damage.
