Question Installing siding over brick ?
I have a home that has some ugly brick. Also the addition has cedar siding that needs replacement. I would like to install cedar siding over the brick. My question is, what is the best way to install new cedar over the brick. Any suggestions or experience with this.

I don't think it would be advisable to install cedar siding over brick. Cedar is *very* expensive and installing it over brick would be a real crime. If you're dead set on getting rid of the brick look, tear the brick off. Otherwise you'll have some real difficulties around windows and doors.
